Liberation Festival Schijnvliegveld de Kiek: Celebrate and experience together! In the context of 80 years of liberation and the 5th anniversary of the revival of Schijnvliegveld de Kiek, the Friends of de Kiek are organizing a two-day liberation festival at Schijnvliegveld de Kiek. We are going to bridge the gap between the present and the past, where there is plenty to see and experience. The program is intended for young and old and admission is free! The exact program will be announced later. There will be demonstrations by various organizations and there will be re-enactment. We are working with various local and national organizations to organize an information market and we will ensure that both old and new times can be experienced on the ground and in the air. What all this is, will become clear in the course of time. It promises to be a unique weekend again with various spectacular components.

Saturday October 26th in any case re-enactment, information market, various demonstrations and the unveiling of a monument for the crashed Vicker Wellington bombers.

Sunday October 27th liberation concert, reenactment and various activities.
