The Historical War Museum of the Landings in Sicily can be found in Catania, on the east coast of Sicily. The museum presents the Allied landings on the southern coast of Sicily in July 1943 and examines the effects and consequences on the lives of local people. The multiple galleries and exhibits display photos, newspaper clippings and various artefacts from WWII.
