During the weekend of 8 – 9 June 2019, two major outdoor concerts will take place at the International Bomber Command Centre in Lincoln, UK.
Saturday 8th June features the Stars of the 40’s with a wide range of tributes to Vera Lynn, George Formby, Gracie Fields, G.I. Frank Sinatra, Flanagan & Allen. Sketches from It Ain’t Half Hot and Dad’s Army will amuse and entertain.
Sunday 9th June features the D Day Darlings, Waddington Military Wives Choir and Blake, forming part of their 2019 UK tour.
Bring your picnic blankets or chairs and relax whilst celebrating the best 40’s music. Full catering and bar available on site.
The site opens from 17.30 each evening.

The International Bomber Command Center, in Lincoln, UK, provides a world-class facility acknowledging the efforts, sacrifices and commitment of the men and women, from 62 different nations, who came together in Bomber Command during the Second World War.
The IBCC serves as a point for recognition, remembrance and reconciliation for those who served, supported or suffered during the bombing campaigns during the Second World War.
By joining the D-Day Cycle Ride the cycling soldiers, who played a part on 6 June 1944, will be commemorated, just as the following Battle of Normandy. The Ride includes all the beaches that were used for the landings and head inland to the key locations that were first to liberated.
