Commemoration of Vlissingen liberation and Battle of the Scheldt

On Saturday 26 October 2024, we will commemorate 80 years of the liberation of Vlissingen and the Battle of the Scheldt. This will take place in the Sint Jacobskerk and at Uncle Beach. Admission is free at both locations.
12.00: Walk-in and reception with a sandwich and coffee/tea in St James' Church;
13.00: Start of commemoration;
13.45: Movement to Uncle Beach, accompanied by the Delta Band and the Korps Commandotroepen;
14.30: Wreath laying at Uncle Beach;
3pm End.
