During this evening, we commemorate - in the presence of veterans - the sacrifices made in Arnhem in an attempt to achieve a breakthrough for freedom in the Netherlands and Europe. We commemorate the Battle that totally destroyed the city, the casualties suffered by soldiers and residents and the large-scale evacuation.
