City walk through Aardenburg as part of 80 years of freedom in Zeeuws Vlaanderen
Guided walk past places where serious events occurred during WWII, destruction was caused, residents and refugees sought shelter, the wounded were cared for, deaths occurred and even children were born. Although the wounds of war seem healed and repaired in human and material terms, traces and remnants from that time of occupation and liberation remain.
The walk starts on the square in front of the R.K. church, Weststraat 80, Aardenburg.
Participation is free of charge.
