Commemorative concert 80 year Market Garden

A special memorial concert to commemorate 80 years of Operation Market Garden by an international occasional choir composed of 32 singers from countries involved (including America, England, Germany and the Netherlands). The classical repertoire performed during this evening is also by various composers, from countries involved in Operation Market Garden. Of the beautiful music, one work was composed especially for this special occasion.

The special choir is led by conductor and composer Peter Leech (son of a veteran). Leech has an impressive track record. He has conducted several choirs all over the world. He is also currently a lecturer at the Cardiff University of Music in Wales. Organist Marcus Bergink and storyteller Bert Rebergen will also contribute to this concert.

Entrance from 19.30 (with coffee/tea, fee payable), start: 20.00, end around 21.00 (there is no intermission).
