Normandy

The Normandy region of France is a place steeped in history and beauty. It was here that the Allies landed on June 6, 1944, to liberate Europe from Nazism. In June 2024, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings, visitors from all over the world will come to Normandy to pay their respects in the military cemeteries, where thousands of soldiers from different countries are laid to rest.

You can visit the D-Day beaches, such as Omaha Beach and Arromanches Beach, where you'll see the remains of artificial harbors and German bunkers. You can also discover the museums and memorials that tell the story of the Battle of Normandy, such as the Mémorial de Caen, France's largest WWII museum.

The year 2024 will be an emotional one, marking the 80th anniversary of D-Day and the Battle of Normandy. International commemorations attended by heads of state, giant fireworks displays, concerts, parachute drops, balls...

All these reasons make Normandy a first-rate tourist destination for history buffs and lovers of magnificent landscapes.
